2026 Mid-Year Review

Six months into the programme, the MoSS team met again in Durham to review progress across the work packages, share new results and plan the next phase of the collaboration. It was a chance to see how quickly the project had grown — scientifically and as a community — and to set priorities for the months ahead.

MoSS Kick-Off Meeting

The MoSS community came together in Durham for our first full programme meeting: two days of science, strategy, workshops and getting to know the people behind the project. The meeting brought the Durham, Leeds and Manchester teams together to start turning the MoSS programme into a genuinely shared way of working.

Durham leads project to transform medicines, agrochemicals and other crystalline-based consumer products

Durham University announced the EPSRC-funded MoSS programme, led by Professor Aurora Cruz-Cabeza. The five-and-a-half-year programme brings together researchers in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science to develop new approaches to molecular crystal design.
